A 40-meter-long water channel that is located at Jalan Datuk Tonggara III, RT 03/11, Kramat Jati Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta is cleaned, Tuesday (10/30).

Kramat Jati Sub-district Head, Eka Darmawan stated that the channel that is cleaned from mud and garbage is aimed to increase channel capacity. So, despite the rainfall intensity is high, it will not overflow into the road.
"To do this we send 35 officers of Sub-district Water Resources. It's targeted to be finished in two days. After this we'll check other spots to do draining," he stated.
